For the past 37 years, dentistry has provided me with the opportunity to give back to my community a level of excellent dental care that can last them a lifetime. It is rewarding beyond words to give patients who have lost hope, hope to get healthy, beautiful mouths back.

It is truly an honor to personally serve and improve the lives of my friends and neighbors, and that is something for which I am truly grateful. I treat each patient like part of my family, and enjoy providing the highest level of care for them.

DENTAL EDUCATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
Before becoming a dentist, I attended Texas Tech University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology. I then went on to the Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

It has always been my goal to provide the best possible service to my patients and doing it to the best of my abilities and the best of my training. By continuing my education, I expand my knowledge and skills in order to provide the highest level of dentistry and care for my patients.

I complete over 50 hours of continuing education a year with emphasis on improving patient care and services for predictable long-term success. In addition to being certified in Invisalign® and sedation dentistry, I have studied occlusal disease, cosmetic dentistry with veneers and direct bonding, dental implants and implant-supported dentures, and all phases of complex restorative dentistry.

As part of my continuing studies, I am an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Brazos Valley Dental Society, and the Pankey Study Club of Texas.

IN THE PRACTICE
I love what I do, and enjoy helping my community live healthier, happier lives through dentistry. I provide conservative, long-term solutions to dental concerns for my patients. The cosmetic dentistry we perform results in beautiful smiles that change lives.

My patients are often surprised at what we are able to do to improve their oral health and comfort, and I love seeing their appreciation for my work. Every smile I receive after treatment means the world to me, and I wouldn't trade my job for the world. I have the opportunity to work with talented team members who genuinely care about our patients, and want them to have the best and most rewarding experience in our practice. They have the ability to connect and build relationships with patients while providing the utmost excellence in all phases of care. It's a great place to work, and I know you'll love coming to see us!

OUR WOODLANDS FAMILY AND COMMUNITY
I was born and raised in Midland, TX, and have lived and worked in The Woodlands since 1980. My wife, Libby, and I have been married for 39 years and have three children and two grandchildren. My oldest daughter, Ashleigh, is married to Scott and they live in Arkansas and have two children, Kyle and Calla. My middle daughter is a marriage and family therapist and lives in Los Angeles. My youngest daughter, Allison, is married to Stephen and is a preschool teacher in Houston. We also have two rescue dogs, Jackson a cocker spaniel and Bella a yorkie.

When I'm not working, I enjoy hunting and fishing on the weekends with my friends, traveling with my wife, spending time with my children and grandchildren, collecting antiques, and preparing gourmet meals for my family and friends. My wife and I enjoy discovering new restaurants together and taking walks with our dogs. I am an active member of my church, HopePointe, and stay connected to my community by actively supporting the Montgomery County Food Bank and the South County Dental Clinic, where I provide free care to those in need.
