Leonard Block Company, Inc. was founded in 1921 by Hobart and Carlton Leonard with their first homemade block machine. Originally Leonards Brick & Concrete Works, the company incorporated in 1980. During the 1940s, the company switched to production only, and has built a solid reputation for service and quality in an industry where large foreign conglomerates normally control the market. With state-of-the-art machinery and a fleet of several tandem boom trucks, Leonard Block Company serves the Triad area with the personal touch of the founding generation. We are proud to be the oldest block company in North Carolina, and one of only a few family-owned block companies still in business.
